Terms of Service

By creating an account or using chad.ai, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

You must be eighteen or older to use chad.ai. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement. We don't knowingly allow anyone under eighteen to use the service, and any depiction of a minor in a prompt or uploaded photo is prohibited outright — see Section 5.

You upload five reference photos of yourself. We use an AI image generation provider to produce new photos of you in different styles and settings based on those references and the presets or prompts you choose. You can also upload a separate photo through the “recreate” feature to have it regenerated in a chosen style.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@chadai.co if you think your account has been compromised.

Upload only photos of yourself, or photos you have clear authorization to use. When you use the “recreate” feature, you're asked to confirm: “I confirm I have the right to use this image.” That confirmation is a real representation you're making to us, not a formality. Uploads featuring identifiable third parties without appropriate authorization from that person are not supported.

You agree not to use chad.ai to generate or attempt to generate content that:

• Depicts, references, or sexualizes anyone under eighteen, in any way.
• Depicts an identifiable real person without their consent, including via a deepfake.
• Is nude, sexually explicit, or NSFW.
• Impersonates a real person, celebrity, or public figure other than you.
• Otherwise violates the rights, privacy, or dignity of another person.

We run automated checks on prompts and reserve the right to reject a generation, suspend, or terminate an account that violates these rules, without a refund of consumed credits for the violating request.

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to operate the service for you — generating your images, displaying them back to you, and providing customer support. We don't use your photos to train general-purpose AI models, and we don't sell them. Every photo is served only through an authenticated route tied to your account — there's no public link to any user's photo.

Generated images are produced by an automated AI model and may not accurately reflect reality, contain imperfections or artifacts, or occasionally miss the mark on likeness. We don't guarantee a specific output quality or result for any given generation. Use your own judgment before relying on or sharing any generated image.

Generations cost credits. You can get credits by subscribing monthly (billed at the price shown at checkout, renewing automatically and granting a fresh batch of credits each period) or by buying a one-time credit pack. Purchased and granted credits don't expire.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access and any unused credits until then. We don't offer partial-period refunds for cancellation.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Charges appear on your statement as set by Stripe and our merchant configuration. If a payment fails or a chargeback is filed, we may suspend access to paid features on the account until it's resolved.

Because credits are consumed at the moment of generation, we generally don't refund credits for completed generations, including ones you're unhappy with the result of. If a payment succeeded but credits weren't delivered due to a technical fault on our end, contact support@chadai.co and we'll make it right.

You can request account deletion from Settings at any time. Once processed, your reference photos and generated photos are permanently deleted from storage on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy. We may also suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms, at our discretion.

chad.ai is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. Where reasonably possible, we'll give notice of material changes that affect your paid plan.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, chad.ai and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of chad.ai after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
